To be fair this is one of the better movies out of the terrible nonsense that has been churned out in recent times on Netflix and similar. I was surprised how competent, watchable, and slightly funny it was.

2022-10-22 13:28:19 +0000 UTCI recommend watching all of the movies on Netflix staring Noah Centineo. They are pretty good. My favorite it "Sierra Burgess is a Loser." And "Sixteen Candles'" is such a MUST.

2022-10-21 05:48:37 +0000 UTCloved the books, really enjoyed the movies (an adaptation is never going to be the same, but these movies were great at keeping the spirit of the books even when elements have been changed or cut for practical reasons). and yes, jenny han also wrote the summer i turned pretty books, on which that prime show is based. (in that case i watched the show first and started reading the books after.)

2022-10-21 03:11:26 +0000 UTCi adore this movie so much. i went into it thinking it'd be dumb like the kissing booth but was immediately charmed and filled with such profound nostalgia. i'm so glad a generation of teens had/has this trilogy to grow up with. the entire trilogy is amazing.
