Earlier in this season, Fitz and Hunter and Enoch froze Fitz for 80 years in space so that he could catch up to the other guys in the future. So future, previously-frozen-for-80-years Fitz traveled back in time to "present day" where Fitz died. The rest of the team knows that "present day" Fitz is still frozen in space for the next 80 years waiting to wake up in the future, so they're just gonna go grab that Fitz. Since they've changed the future, he doesn't need to stay frozen for 80 years anymore. According to their reasoning.
