This was a big deal when it first premiered. The fans went wild for it. It’s a shame that Warner Brothers wouldn’t give Smallville permission to use the Batman Character on the show.

2022-11-05 14:01:40 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes of the show for sure! Bart Allen/Impulse pretty much is the flash in terms of powers and I believe in the comics he becomes the flash later on. As far as the show getting stale, the last few seasons of the show are my favorites!

They've built up members of the justice league over time, they finally put most of them together and let them do some classic superhero goodness. As for spinoffs, they tried making an aquaman show before aquaman appeared in smallville, originally the actor who plays Green Arrow was aquaman. I think you can find the pilot for that show online. I don't know if you know this yet but they originally wanted Batman to appear this season instead of GA. But with the nolan movies out, they didn't want another version of batman on the tv side of things. As for the future of the show, there's a lot left of the show and we haven't reached the major turning point to the last chapter just yet.

IIRC They did attempt to pitch a Justice League show and fans for sure were clamoring for a Green Arrow show, but sadly it just didn't happen. That super hero walk is just mmwha, chef's kiss!
