I'm not on Rachel's side because she is super childish, but I'm not on Santana's by a long-shot because she's just as childish, but with a humorous delivery. She admits to trying to psych Rachel out and is actively going after her dream out of spite. They're both in the wrong. I just think Santana could've talked to Rachel about the audition before blindsiding her with it. That way, if Rachel had acted like a bitch, it would've been clear, but their shared history, Santana's audition, and then super personal attack reopened old wounds. I also think the slap was warranted because Rachel did walk away and shut her bedroom curtain and Santana followed her and continued the argument with some really awful things, so... But honestly, they're both super petty people. I do think that if Dani/Kurt/Elliot hadn't come into the loft during that one scene, they probably would have killed the argument there though.
