I never realized the “wooos!”in regards to the strip joke. It’s a hilarious bit, but that audience response is definitely creepy. But both Ashley Tisdale and Brenda Song (Maddie and London) look back on it fondly! Ashley continuously references it (let’s be honest… she was running that channel) and Brenda still does voice acting for Disney and has talked about how important this role was for her as a young Asian girl. Ashley and Brenda actually originally read for each other’s parts thanks to the dumb blonde/smart Asian stereotype, but the creators decided to do a switcheroo! A fantastic decision, really!

I’m a fraternal twin and look completely different than my sister so telling us apart was never an issue but I’m assuming there is some sort of labeling system parents use at first
