Regarding your question about why Lana was shocked finding her necklace in Clark's bedroom: I think it's because when Lana lost the necklace it was a green meteor rock. Now it's been neutralized, so I think the shock was due to, 1, Clark having it in the first place and 2, it having been transformed into a different substance.
