Also, I don't like to be jury and executioner, but I am totally in favor of women killing their abusers... and that is what Dan is... no matter how the show justifies it or how much we see from his psychologically.

I like when we focus on Peyton because I actually relate to her character the most (and Lucas, so it is actually funny that they are the most disliked characters lol). I also love that we're seeing Lucas and Peyton really be there for each other, since that's how their relationship started off in the first place. I think this episode seems random, but it is very important for Peyton's character development and storyline, and the conversations between Lucas and his friend are kind of a running theme throughout the show, and paints a picture about Tree Hill High that might be important to remember in the episodes that are coming. Same with the little we got from Rachel/Mouth. Also, of course, the Deb stuff is pretty significant.

Last time both Lucas AND Peyton kept telling Brooke to trust them and still did what they did anyways. They made Brooke feel like she was crazy. So annoying then and so annoying that he's saying it again.

2022-05-17 10:52:40 +0000 UTCI enjoyed the episode, but I always like these character based episodes, where it's not really about the situations or things going on around them but just the characters even if they can be a little slower. Also, no story about your first album/cd purchase, I was interested to hear it.

Peyton wasn't always my favorite character, but I did love this storyline for her. Next epi starts a long run of some very good episodes. I really love this stretch of the show. Can't wait to watch with you.
