2022-05-19 19:18:40 +0000 UTCWatching Enzo stuff this season is just a bunch of cringe and second hand embarrassment. Like he seriously needs to get a life, or at least a new hobby. Can't wait to get past it. He really has so much more to offer as a character.

2022-05-19 12:20:49 +0000 UTCYou're not crazy Steven, there was definitely no build up for Jeremy to secretly go off and hunt vampires. xD makes sense because of his hunter past, and after all he's gone through it would be hard to just be normal art student. Definitely more satisfying to kill vampires and prevent them from wrecking peoples lives the way Jeremys life has been crushed. He will be missed. I was wondering did I really foget Bonnie/Jeremy reunion, or they actually didn't have one. Looks like there won't be one, which is very upsetting to me as I remember looking forward to it so much, how many episodes has Jeremy wanted to see her now? Anyway. Very happy to see you enjoy this show 6 seasons in, there are quite a few memorable moments still coming this and next season, you're even loving the parts I had no interest in already, so I guess you might agree this season has definitely picked up and been an improvement since season 5.

2022-05-19 10:22:06 +0000 UTCSo yeah, about half the fandom hated Stefan/Caroline for exactly the reason you said...Elena. However, a lot of people were rooting for them too. I think it was one of the best built romances too. And, it's fun going back and watching the beginning again knowing where it eventually goes. Remember it was episode one when Stefan said "Caroline it's never going to happen" between them. Yet...he obviously ate his words in this episode. Liz passing away was really hard for me to see. I cry every time I watch that scene and I don't cry for TV shows much. However, this episode and then The Body in Buffy gets me every time. That's pretty much it. I actually liked Damon being the one to be with Liz at the end. It really set up the Caroline stuff for later and how things like that ...not being there...happens. Yeah, the Enzo stuff really feels shoehorned in and messes with the perfection that is this episode for me. I just don't care about that stuff and it breaks up what I do care about.

2022-05-19 07:19:31 +0000 UTCRewatching this episode for the first time after watching when it aired really rocked my emotions tonight. I nearly lost my mom last December to a stroke and these last moments with Liz, Caroline and even Damon hit hard for me. I was sobbing along with you. Especially, when Caroline had the dream sequence. Ugh! π I agree that everything else, except Steroline happening, brought the episode down a few pegs. Nevertheless, I give it 9-10 solely to respect Liz and Stefan & Caroline sharing their first kiss
