This episode was very much ahead of its time as they brought these issues as the main plot point airing in the 90s. You still see dudes with the mindset Eric and his friends have. But unfortunately that's a product of Red raising him in that "old school" way and in the 70s. One thing I appreciate about you younger gen, is how much of a big deal this wasn't to you, when even just 10-15 years ago when I was going to school, it was anything but. So you can imagine how much worse it really was back during the Vietnam days. Great episode, Donna is the best character on the show.
