I am sorry, but I have not sympathy for Regina. Yes, the fact that she might have lost both girls to the Kenishes is horrible, but what she did was still wrong! To make things worse she has spent this entire time verbally bashing Angelo for leaving as if he was just a bad guy, when really he thought she had an affair and had proof of Daphne not being his. On top of that, after the 2 families met and lived together she has made NO attempt to get to know Bay at all! And now Bay is learning that her real mother knew about her and chose another girl over her back then! Also, she says she made a choice, but the choice was not hers alone, it affected more than just her.

2023-02-02 18:19:55 +0000 UTCI don't agree with the choice that Regina made, but the threat of Daphne being taken away from Regina is very real and it is definitely something the Kennishes would do. She was a Latina alcoholic. The Kennishes wouldn't let her see Bay and they would move Daphne into a "safer and more resourceful" home. Like, I hate that they just skated by that as if that isn't something that happens to women of color ALL THE TIME.

Or the way that Bay's parents try with Daphne but Regina really doesn't try with Bay is heartbreaking. You'll find little sympathy from me in term of Regina...Go Bay!!

She has never fit in, and she just wants to feel loved and wanted. It is completely in character for someone like her to flit from boyfriend to boyfriend, desperately seeking attention. And also in character for her to be devastated to learn that her "real" mother didn't put her first.

2022-06-09 05:26:31 +0000 UTCi think they could’ve developed bay and emmett’s friendship before them being in a full blown relationship as well but they’ll grow on you..or not haha, it’s up to you l we’re all different. i also think you’re WAYYY too hard on bay. she just found out that she was switched at birth which is the answer to this internal feeling that she’s different from her family and always had that feeling something was wrong/not right in her life. now to find out that this woman who’s an artist like her who is her biological mother…knew for 13 years that bay was out there and never once reached out to her. that feeling of rejection and like “what’s wrong with me that my own biological mother didn’t want me?” for a 15-16 year old girl must be devastating. especially with never feeling like she fit in with her family and daphne coming in and fitting right in— looking like them, cooking like kathryn, playing sports like john…you asked bay to think about regina and put herself in her shoes but no one is thinking about bay or putting themselves in HER shoes. also i don’t think many people in bay’s shoes upon hearing that news could have had your reaction of not faulting their biological mother (regina) AT ALL and completely understanding of regina not trying to get to know her biological daughter at all. i did love this reaction though, hopefully you can start cutting bay a little more slack because she’s really going through it lol

2022-06-09 05:10:53 +0000 UTCAll of the issues you have with bay and emmett are issues that are going to be addressed in the show. you have to realize, the show isn’t over yet, you’re only on the 8th episode of the 1st season. i totally get where you’re coming from though, i can understand why you’d be like “let the girl breathe for 5 seconds w/o a guy with her” lolol
