also minkus can hold his own. when shawn snarks at him, he snarks right back and they have like this mutual....not respect, but understanding sort of. like if someone was genuinely crossing a line with minkus to the point that he was uncomfortable or scared, i have no doubt shawn would probably be one to pull a bully off him. i'm having such a blast watching this show on patreon and seeing the first time reactions and reading everyone's commentaries and memories about the show. it certainly is a special one <3

2022-06-13 19:49:43 +0000 UTCI love rewatching the show with you. It really makes me miss the kind of shows that we had in the 90's. Feeny is such a great teacher, he just always does the right thing for Cory. While I do think that season one Cory is a lot more brash and sometimes insensitive but its something that he grows out of. They do make fun of Minkus but not in a malicious way, not to me anyway. The scene where Minkus comes back in his new outfit shows that. He still felt comfortable enough to come back to Cory's house and when he said no to helping Cory, neither one of them got upset.
