i think he could actually skip the 2 special episodes and be just fine. they aren't necessary viewing. you could literally jump straight into season 2 after season 1 and still understand everything happening in season 2 even if you've never seen the 2 special episodes because those 2 episode are useless lol

The special episodes are separate from the actual show, so you have to search them up separately on HBO Max. There are two special episodes: Part 1 is Rue and Part 2 is Jules. I think Nate mentions in an earlier episode that the state law decrees it doesn't matter if Jules is a minor herself, that she would still be found guilty of creating and distributing child pornography. And many states do see it that way as well. But, yeah, Nate, I think has ruined literally everyone's lives at this point. Electric chair, honestly! Also, Jules didn't lie - she said she was going to visit a friend from her old school. And honestly, that club sequence basically let me know that Jules was very much not in a good place at all - we're seeing Rue and Jules kind of at their lowest, but in two completely different ways, which I think is significant for how we see both of those characters. "This directorial choice is cool but annoying at the same time" - honestly, Euphoria in a nutshell lmao
