Idk...I absolutely think Legacies should be judged next to TO and TVD. TO and Legacies are both spinoffs from TVD and done by the same people. So why wouldn't you judge them together? If Legacies doesn't live up to the standard of the other two shows, then maybe that's an issue rather than just saying not to judge them together.

2022-06-15 04:48:11 +0000 UTCThis show says clearly "all types of weird stuff is magic". Shown when Alaric/Jeremy's ring can only bring normal humans back to life from a supernatural death. Elena pre-Vampire (doppelganger) can't use it. Is a doppelganger that magical? Not really, but the show treats them all the same. Through the seasons, Vampires and Witches are the magical topic of Season 1, then Werewolf Season 2, Original (Vampire) Season 3, Hunters and Physics (Silas) Season 4, Travelers for Season 5, Gemini for Season 6, and etc. This is all to say prepare for more magical classes that build off each other, and they all make sense in Universe.

They are witches, that broke away from the Gemini coven, they are like Kai, siphoners. They only pull magic from other sources, like Kai. Lily Salvatore became a vampire, and turned all the Heretics, her new family. Therefore, they are vampires always, but when they find a source of magic, they can siphon the energy to use magic. And, since they are vampires, they are at all times sources of magic, and therefore can exist simultaneously as Vampires and Witches.

You mostly dislike Enzo, you see him as a pointless bloodthirsty character this season that didn't change. Enzo let her go. He, in the end, refused to play any more games. He denied his predatory nature and heightened emotions in that moment. We have just begun the Enzo arc.

When you watch Legacies don't set the same Standards that you have for the The vampire diaries and Originals. Sometimes Legacies takes a very different approach to storytelling than these shows.
