2022-06-29 14:02:25 +0000 UTCRIP Lee Thompson. I always loved this episode when it aired and it continues to hold weight 'til this day. I feel Smallville does a great job at introducing DC character, as all of their eps to date have been Fantastic. Imagine being a viewer when this show aired and 4-5 years watching Lex, a character who is always doom but continues to try to be good. Its tragic but it's one of the best aspects of this show. Bad is an over simplification for Lex Luthor, he is a ruthless Billionaire Mogul whose search for power is multifaceted, whether it be through money, influence etc. his unshakable thirst for knowledge and will to be great which was instilled in him by his father FAR outweighs the simple dilemmas of Good & Bad or Right & Wrong. I will always sing praises towards Smallville for this level of gradual and methodical development in his character
