I think you compared the two versions of Footloose just perfectly. I thought the remake was ok but it’s missing the heart the first one did. The first one is tops for me. Miles Teller was the only good thing honestly but he’s pretty great in everything I’ve seen him in. The Step Up franchise is similar to this and every movie is a bit different from the previous. Your brother just did the first Step Up a little bit ago but someone needs to see Moose and his hilarious greatness. I’ll also add Flashdance, another 80s dance centered movie.
