Klaus’ plan was fucking brilliant I’m sorry lol he killed Gia for 2 reasons: 1. To convince Dahlia that he is unhinged and on her side and 2. To get back at Elijah for helping Haley run and for daggering him (he’s still Klaus) Then he has Dahlia curse Haley and the pack for 2 reasons: 1. To get out of having to kill Haley and the pack and 2. To get back at Haley for trying to take Hope and run (he’s still Klaus lol) Freya and Elijah’s plan wouldn’t have worked and Klaus knew this which is why he did what he did. (He discovered that they had the wrong ingredients to kill Dahlia when she let him into her mind) Pretending to kill Cami while telling her what they really need to do to kill Dahlia was the cherry on top!

It made me believe that klaus might have gone crazy and also displayed the cruel petty gruesome monster he really is. Now in hindsight it also shows that without a moments notice this man will carry out whatever need be to execute the mission, in the most complex stragic manner. That writing served to complement/highlight his intellect while maintaining his ruthless/terrifying demeanor

Uhh we know Klaus is a fucking monster, probably the worst in this universe, this one the best times in this show that the writers displayed that maniacal, raw, evil wit of Klaus where he did whatever he needed to get the job done (make her trust him). Sometimes viewers forget just how bad Klaus actually is because of alot comedic sugarcoating and obviously the show did not air on a network like showtime or HBO its a cw show, but he is indeed evil and i for one respect the consistency in the writers gruesome depiction of the big bad wolf i.e klaus. Him burning that girl alive was wild, and really gave us a glimse into the true ruthless, give no fucks, do what the fuck needs to be done without hesitation Klaus. Absolute muthafukin G, what a well written character

The fans and Elijah demanded Klaus forgive him well I say Elijah and the fan base should do the same there’s a lot of hypocrisy when it comes to Klaus that I can’t stand.

Dahlia said it would have failed regardless because they didn't have the blood of the witch that broke her heart (they thought it was Freya and it's not). 2. Freya has already said she can't be killed because she’s bound to a sleeping spell Dahlia cast on them both that also gave them immortality, so Dahlia putting her to “sleep” was punishment because Freya has said she hates it. 3. Personally, I’m team Klaus here. I'm not sure what Elijah was expecting when he daggered Klaus. Klaus definitely deserved it for all the things he's done to his siblings, but it was at the worst time possible. Plus it didn't help when he overhead Hayley’s voicemail to Elijah and Rebekah, saying she didn't want Hope to be a Mikaelson. I love Hayley, and she has a point, but trying to take his daughter from him was the wrong move. And even though he did it to punish Elijah, the only thing I didn't like about Klaus’ plan was Gia dying.

2022-07-09 04:32:27 +0000 UTCFreya said in the making of her spell to defeat Dahlia that "She needed a drop of blood from the one who broke her heart" mixed with the Viking ash of Mikael. Elijah/Freya/Rebekah's plan wouldn't have worked because, As Dahlia says to Freya when they get caught, is that Freya's betrayal didn't break Dahlia's heart and that Freya put too much/banked too much weight on their relationship. So their plan wouldn't have succeeded, and it was very likely they all would've either died or have been badly hurt and with Hope captured, hadn't Klaus interfered. 😭 Although, this episode really messed me tf up on first watch
