This baby stuff just feels unnecessary. I still think Adalind is also just not an interesting character and I could care less about her. Hopefully the story picks back up with some better storylines

This is also a part of the show slowly changing aspects of the crew's relationship with Adalind storywise. There's alot of fallout from this action so buckle up.

The reason why they take the baby to adalin and all was because now the royal will leave captain and adalin alone because they gave up there baby and the royal will think its the resistance who took the baby and like kelly said the baby need a *normal* life for her to not be attach to either side (royal, resistance), and nick mom was the one who can dissapear without any enemy knowing who she is. But yes the way they did adalin was wrong.

So glad we are here, these episodes are so much fun! and soon we get introduced to another cool character
I agree that taking Diana from Adalind was unnecessary, but maybe they thought Kelly can keep the kid safer ? It was cruel either way. It's just another bad thing to happen between the gang and Adalind / and it's not exactly the last
Yes, arresting Kelly was part of the plan, exactly how you said :)
