When yal are staring at your phone through half the episode of any other show it is very annoying, when you stare at your phone during this show it is unbearable! This is a show where half the dialogue is via ASL, which means you have to read the subtitles, but most of the signed conversation you are looking at your phone!

Lucile Byrd

A couple things: 1) Yes, Regina is a grown woman, but she still has a responsibility to her children, especially Daphne who she raised, and is clearly uncomfortable around Angelo. As a mother, she should be always thinking about how Daphne feels, so I like that it is something that concerned her. The choices parents make deeply affect their children, and even despite Regina’s happiness, it’s important that that is acknowledged. 2) I disagree about the Daphne and Wilke stuff. Sure, Daphne clarified that they were not in a relationship and said Wilke was not her type. But she said that she loves talking to him and wanted to remain friends. Wilke was pissy about it and then came around eventually telling her that they’re actually in similar positions. I think once he realized that, it doesn’t make much sense to press his luck by playing hard-to-get all of a sudden, since he’s made his feelings about her quite clear. Honestly, if anyone had to still prove themself in this episode, it was Wilke and he ended up doing just fine. If you’re being pursued, it’s your job to find out if the person you’re pursuing is worth your time and it seems like that’s the dynamic of this relationship, which makes sense for who both of these characters are.
