I was one of those who was looking forward to Elena free show. They weren't giving any new storylines. Since the beginning it was Elena gets in trouble/gets kidnapped, Salvatore brothers come to the rescue, and then they need Bonnies help with magic for it. So when 7th season came, I was excited. But somehow in the beginning of this season...Elena got kidnapped, Salvatore brother comes to the rescue and used Bonnies magic to help him through it...xDD I was pissed...they didn't move on and refresh the storyline at all, somehow they still made it about Elena. Hope the rest of the season gets better, I hardly remember what happens.

2022-08-17 13:15:56 +0000 UTCI legit don't remember who's hunting the characters in fact theres alot I dont remember besides the major plot points, and tbh I love it cuz one thing I do remember is that this season is FREAKIN GOOD. This season is quite well done with its character introductions, development, direction etc. but the story as well just displays really good writing. Many fans didn't know what the show would be post Elena, and yes many fans also was kinda ready for Elena to go but I remember ppl theorizing that the show would dip in quality. But the writers room went haam!! with creative and great ideas that made this season legit. Cant wait for more reactions
