This was a good first episode! I think that the reason that this is so beloved is that the cast is just so good and has great chemistry.

When Kim Rhodes got the part to play Jody in Supernatural, I think maybe 6 years after this pilot, a lot of people joked that she was always gonna be mothering two boys who were always gonna be in trouble. She rocked it as Jody and, you know what, you'll see her rocking it here, too. LOVE that woman

Reba and Home Improvement just have such special spots in my heart as far as sitcoms go. Idk what it was but they just had something special. The Middle has that same kind of something special too. Would love to see these sitcoms tossed up on a poll sometime
