She was a character in Zoey 101 (one of the mains) and it was established she was getting a show, so they applauded for her.They explain why Trina is in the school later in the show.

2022-08-17 14:06:54 +0000 UTCAlso, I felt like adding that one of the reasons I recommended or mentioned this show in comments and voted for it is because some of the humor or jokes you seemed to find funny in Wizards, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and that you mentioned you liked Community, which had it's fair share of random and strange jokes, as well the fact that you've said you like shows or movies with music, made me think you might enjoy the show.

2022-08-17 07:21:33 +0000 UTClol yeah, this first episode was very awkward. The laugh track and applause and cheering was super weird but it just gets better. I agree the ending choice is super weird. It was supposed to be a huge eff you to Jade, but it just made Beck look like a terrible boyfriend and Tori look bad herself. The reason why Jade was upset in the first place is because she thought you were into your boyfriend. Trina being untalented is a running joke. To be fair, they do actually answer some of your questions later in the series. but it's best not to question the general weirdness.

Nothing is really going to be explained, so just take it as it comes! Lol glad you're doing this show, don't know how you'll react to it though 😂
