Simone was being a racist prick this episode and I honestly don't fault Monica for responding the way she did. Sure, she might have been too eager and ready to fight, but the games Simone was playing of she didn't "technically" outright say she that Monica stole her watch was juvenile. We know exactly what she meant and all the implications that came with it. Daphne is friends with Simone, so even if Daphne attempted to call Simone out, Monica saw it as Daphne changing and adapting and having access to privilege that Monica never will. I can see why she wants to put up that divide. Otherwise, I'm glad that we heard Lucas Grabeel sing this episode. He's awesome and always has been since the HSM days.

2022-08-19 03:04:28 +0000 UTCGlad you're seeing Bay's side in this one. At the beginning of this episode you said "don't start Bay" or something like that and I was concerned. As an empath, I could already pick up on what was going on between her and Grandma. Luckily, you quickly started picking up on it too. Bay can be over the top sometimes but overall I do feel bad for her and how she percieves herself as an outsider. And in this episode her perception was accurate.
