2022-11-13 05:02:07 +0000 UTCI went to an Anglican school and definitely had the daily skirt length checks and also heel height checks (2 inches or lower). Watching this show I always thought how unrealistic it was that they got away with so many uniform infractions but I figured schools in the US must just have been more forgiving than schools in the Bahamas.

Can't remember what he does later aside from being a bit dull. What he's done so far doesn't match up to other malicious people in this show, so can't hate him for it

2022-08-23 22:07:50 +0000 UTCLol I never went to a school with uniforms, always wanted to as a kid since lots of my school kids were bullied for their outfits. xD I like how they make all students equal, and I also find many uniforms super cute. ;D I'd wear them as adult if it weren't weird

2022-08-23 02:27:35 +0000 UTCnot my show i watch but i just want to comment that that screeenshot takes me back!!! i forget just how big a thing gg was at the time. i went to a catholic high school and practically every girl in the grades below ours would try to copy every look, every hair style, every headband, every accessory as best as our strict rules would allow. there was even a petition to let girls wear the boys ties. not for any gender revolution type thing but because gossip girl girls wore ties. it was ridiculous but looking back, kind of charming? just what a cultural moment it was. only rivialed by glee honestly
