2022-12-12 03:41:54 +0000 UTCIt's so crazy how different I see certain scenes now that I'm older, and have learned so much more about abuse. Ezra suddenly feels weird about their relationship? Yeah, no. He is doing that to make Aria fight for them (while he is constantly using her lack of maturity against her), and to make their bond even stronger. Such a predator move. 😞

2022-09-05 06:50:58 +0000 UTCi love emily and toby connecting! their bond is one of my favorite things these early episodes. so this episode always makes me happy for that reason. they've both been through so much, they deserve a friend. oh gosh the drama aria's family is going through....i can't even imagine being a teenager and going through all that and being under that roof with it all. poor ashley!! she's one of the moms i genuinely feel this sense of protectiveness over. it sucks that her husband walked out on them and then is dropping this news on her daughter out of nowhere. like he moved on so damn fast!! and i know you said you didn't really sympathize with her last episode which i still don't really understand but ugh i want to hug both her and hannah! ugh ian harding is too charming for his own good!! he makes me endeared to his character in little tiny moments that make me just want to scream because i can't stand ezra but gosh ian's charm is something else. also yay spencer connecting with someone her own age who is giving her the attention and respect she's craved and sought out from previously inappropriate places. still want to just hug her. i think as i've gotten older and go back and rewatch my proactive instincts just kick in for everyone lol

That is one thing the new pretty little liars show on HBO did good with its 10 episode format. It speeds the plot along without as much filler. So definitely watch that side story once this shows done

I giggled I DID lmao I have always thought Ezra was funny, and it's really just Ian's comedic delivery and timing. But he was a jackass this scene and I really thought Ezra was leaning towards some level of morality (lol) but of course, he remains the worst. Spencer and Alex were a refreshing thing this episode. Like, there was something about his introduction and their scenes that just worked so well. There's a fun story about Hardy (Ezra's friend). I assume you recognize Patrick J. Adams from Suits? Well, he's now married to Troian Bellisario (Spencer)! During the filming of this, he and Troian were broken up, so to "win her back," he auditioned for the role of Hardy (which is just a small guest-starring role, which he mentioned he wouldn't usually do at this point in his career) just to be on set and around her! And, well, it worked! Next episode is ICONIC so buckle up!
