I'm not sure but I think it was written specifically this way because of Corey being in rehab, and I think they wanted him at nationals. so sort of held off of a "proper" finally. the proposing thing at the end if you look during the wedding blain is hiding the ring. LIke he chose to no propose because he did not want to steal the spot light.

2022-09-08 03:23:26 +0000 UTCI like Brittany/Heather Morris, I thought she had some funny lines and she's a great dancer, I think she had some decent storylines in season 2 and a little bit in 3 but in season 4 it seemed they decided not to bother with attempting decent storylines with her and I wasn't a fan of the choices with her character this season. Aside from the breakup with Santana and the scene with her hiding in the bathroom after the gun went off, which showed some great acting from her, I found her storylines to be more weird/irritating than funny.

2022-09-07 23:45:09 +0000 UTCi gotta admit i love that you have Brittany when it said Glee "by Brittney" and you yelled Noooo i laughed so hard. i also thought that is was so beyond stupid to make Brittany a "Genius" i like the character most of the time she's real funny and stuff but i didnt like that choice, its totally fine if other people like that they did that though to each their own you know

2022-09-07 09:42:36 +0000 UTCEven though you might not care about Brittany the major focus on Brittany this episode is because the actress that plays Brittany (Heather Morris) was pregnant in real life. In this episode there is actually a clear shot of her baby bump when she is walking in the hallway into the choir room. I feel like a lot of people miss that. So this episode is basically a send off episode for Brittany because she will be gone for awhile. You mentioned Brittany has been "Eric Matthew-ed" but I don't agree Eric was kind of smart then progressively got dumber. Always thought Brittany was more like Joey and Phoebe from Friends who were always ditzy/dumb but actually had moments where they said smart things. Brittany was shown to be dumb from the beginning and really shown to be smartest when she is around Santana in my opinion. Brittany has never been my favorite character but I don't dislike her just feel like they never written the best for her. In my opinion Brittany's best written and best acted scenes have always been with Santana and I really think that is because Heather and Naya were such good friends off screen so it always shined through when they had scenes that showed Brittany and Santana's friendship and relationship.

2022-09-07 04:34:23 +0000 UTCI don't really like Brittany outside of her dancing, but this was the most ridiculous way to get rid of her. The reason she left was because Heather Morris was pregnant at the time. This is probably one of my least favorite episodes in the show and that's saying a lot considering what's coming in season five. I don't care about the Brittany storyline, I don't care about the catfish situation, especially since anyone with half a brain knew it was Unique, and while better than Gangnam Style, the performance was pretty mediocre.
