I love the storyline for London but i hated how it was executed. I relate to her way too much in this episode. My mom constantly had new boyfriends and i never bother to even speak to them since they'll be gone in weeks. Now she has a new boyfriend who has lingered more and she insists on me getting to know him, but i am an adult now. I have no reason to get to know this man right now.

But now, I completely agree with you. She did come in pretty aggressive. I think they should have played up how alike they are and also how much she was overcompensating for something. What were her parents like? Is she trying to be the parent she never had? Did Mr. Tipton tell her that London needed a mother? Even a conversation with Mr. Moseby could’ve helped? There was a way to make the stepmother not utterly ridiculous and still have her be funny and overbearing, as long as she could back it up idk
