So obviously you’ve already finished the show but this episode was more about showing that beck and jade have grown as characters as opposed to it being about beck and Tori dating. Of course you know that now.

2024-10-18 07:13:31 +0000 UTCYou’re a few episodes ahead now so I’m not sure you ganna respond, not that I’m a Beck and Tori shipper but how come if they were to date you see it as Tori breaking girl code and Beck dating his ex girlfriends friend and he’s the bad guy but you’re all for Andre dating Jade. Like Andre would be breaking guy code of dating his friends ex girlfriend and Jade would be dating her ex boyfriend friend. Now I personally think the situation is a little different since they’re all friends and Tori and Jade aren’t the closest of friends. But it’s weird how you’re against one and all for the other. Also I agree with what everyone else was saying in thing you misunderstood what they wanted us to get out of their opposite date.

It wasn't about saying Beck and Tori are going to be a couple, it was more about saying Beck and Tori can hang out, it doesn't mean their going to date. Possibly because their was a fair amount of the audience shipping Beck and Tori.

2023-08-08 20:56:27 +0000 UTCJade didn't say she was ok with them dating, she said she was ok with them hanging out because they are all friends. I think the point of the story is normalising them together without it being a thing, by making a big joke out of them being paranoid about it. It really wasn't a date, they really didn't want it to be a date, and even Jade realised it's not and that she should be ok with friends hanging sometimes. Beck making a move was not great, but in the heat of the moment sometimes that kind of thing can happen.
