Does NEW 90210 Reboot Spoil Beverly Hills, 90210 Original?
Added 2023-08-09 22:49:49 +0000 UTCSo I am supposed to record the 90210 reboot because it was REQUESTED TIER but after watching the original and seeing the love it got from the community I want to ask if watching the new one spoil and ruin the original in a major way? I know characters show up and everything but How much does it focus on the OGs over the new kids.
I just dont want to ruin the old show in case it ever wins a poll for a reaction. It did really well in the last poll so just want to make sure before hand.

Anyone new looking here, heβs gonna have Brian do this reaction instead as it can also be watched by itself if not really planning to watch original. Because steven may do the original weekly down road and itβs best to not be spoiled by a few things.

While the reboot moves away from the original slate of characters and develops their own story the reboots first season connects itself to some original characters so yes I would say avoid the reboot until you've watched further into the original

2023-08-10 03:15:50 +0000 UTCyes and no. a few minor things and one pretty significant relationship that happens on the original...that has an impact on one of the characters in the future on the reboot. that's really it though. for the most part, the reboot is an an entirely different cast with new storylines. i will say though...i'd prefer to see you react to the original 90210. it's the superior show and i think you'd enjoy it more than the reboot tbh.

2023-08-10 02:31:19 +0000 UTCI've never watched the original, and I want you to react to the reboot but I do remember some drop ins by og characters and eluding to certain relationships from the original. It doesn't go into detail and the focus definitely isn't on the OG characters, but there are a couple of minor spoilers regarding where those characters are in their lives at the point of the reboot etc.

2023-08-09 23:54:47 +0000 UTCWhile the show does focus more way more on the new cast I donβt think people quite realize just how many things you could figure out about how the original show went just from small conversations that all characters that do come back have on the reboot. This is not even factoring in the larger spoilers you get just from the premise of the cast.
