It's comparable to my favorite show of all time, Third Watch, in that it includes all first responders; yet, it has an extra family feel and a bit less harshness, making it seem unique. A cool thing about the series is that many of the incidents are based on real calls, usually in the L.A. area. I always know when I see something unusual on the local news, that 9-1-1 will eventually be using it in an upcoming story. 😂
