Update, Small Changes & House Continues (For Now)

So here is the update about what's happening for the first few months of the new year. I talk about why we have moved on from Suits, what's happening with House and what shows we are trying to bring back and start.
The goal is to Bring some more different kind of stuff back and start shows that are not your typical shows that we are doing.

I was just thinking that he could cut each season down to ⅓ or something. I think season 7 is especially rough. But it just my opinion, I get that not everyone will like it. ;)

2023-01-02 03:40:04 +0000 UTCI think for House maybe you could do just key episodes like series premiere and finales and some fan favourites. I more or less fell off House but always tuned in to those episodes myself. You could still watch it on your own like you planned but just do reactions for those episodes. I think it would make those episodes have good views and it would skip the more "procedural" episodes and you could get done quicker with House (have space for something else) and people also get to see you react to the finale of the show. Even as someone who didn't watch all of House I would like to see you react to the series finale but I am probably not going to being watching weekly. So I understand that you wouldn't want to continue, but maybe this could be a solution.

2023-01-01 20:53:42 +0000 UTCI appreciate this update! If House really is just draining your time and the numbers are truly bad, then feel free to replace! I wish I could see you watch the final season, but if its not doing anything for you anymore, move on... That being said, Criminal Minds is a procedural show. Lots of character stuff in between, for sure, but it is very much based on the cases per episode/several episodes(depending on the arc of the case.) I do think it's an untapped barrel though because there are LEGIONS of fans, and nobody (that I know of) does reactions.

2023-01-01 20:51:02 +0000 UTCoh i hope he does!! i think he'd enjoy it a lot. he loves BMW a lot and is so empathetic to the storylines i can see him really enjoying GG and we do need more reactions to it out there. it's such a comfort show, i'd easily watch both it and psych over again with him.

I know it came in 2nd place on the poll after Teen Wolf, but I notice he started Psych (which came in 3rd), so I am curious. It's fine if he's not, I just want to know if I should be expecting it or not. If not, I will start it over (again) on my own. I already watched your reactions to it multiple times. :)

On Amazon: Jack Ryan only has 8 episodes per season and its 3rd season is just starting now, so not that many episodes to go through on that one. Also, Andor on Disney Plus was phenomenal.

2023-01-01 19:00:18 +0000 UTCthank you for the update, and for your efforts to be responsive to "what the people want." fwiw, related to house numbers, i'm one who was watching it super regularly before, like same day you posted it or the next - then for various reasons i fell behind and i'm still trying to catch up. maybe others are in a similar boat, if there are more people voting to keep the show going than it seems are watching? about past shows you may go back to, i'm wondering if my so-called life is one? i think in the last episode you had posted (or one of the last) you said you planned to just knock out the rest of the season/series quickly because there wasn't much left, and then it seems like plans changed. i know i'm one of, like, five people here who were really into it and that you have to allocate your efforts to things that are more popular. but i'm wondering if you still plan to finish the show at some point - and, even if it doesn't make sense for you to do reaction videos for each remaining episode, whether you'd consider watching the rest without filming it and maybe doing a recap video with your thoughts about those episodes and the series as a whole? i think you were starting to appreciate (and somewhat enjoy?) the show, and i'd be really interested to know what you think about it, as someone who watches and evaluates a lot of shows from overlapping genres and/but did NOT come of age in the same era as angela, ricky, rayanne, and the handful of us who were following the show on patreon. in any case, thanks again for being you and doing what you do. 🙂

Because I've been keeping a close eye on the comments, and there's only constant encouragement to keep watching, didn't see negative stuff you mentioned at all. Thing with House is, people are only interested in certain storylines, so some of them might be skipping and waiting for their favorites to come, doesn't mean they're done with the show. People also like to talk negatively about a show they never even watched and push something else in it's place just to have their own favorites ;D negative voices are the loudest ones, while those who are happy with how things are just watch and stay quiet.

I think you're doing the right thing with how you guys wanna move forward. Personally I love Suits a lot for instance but I agree that the best seasons are the first 5 and you already moved past that, so I understand. I have a question though: on one of your polls I made a small comment about bringing Nikita back and surprisingly to me A LOT of people agreed. Is there a chance you might continue that too? There is not much left of it either (just about 20 episodes). Thank you :)
