Quinta Brunson (who plays the lead and is the creator of the show) was nominated as an actor and won for her writing on this pilot! Tyler James William (new substitute teacher) and Janelle James (Principal Ava) also weβre nominated for their work! Finally, The show as a whole was nominated. If you ask me, they should have won all the awards they were nominated for. Truly an excellent show!
