2023-01-07 15:43:24 +0000 UTCThe DA dropped the charges against Toby a few episodes because the evidence was corrupted. That’s really now why they moved the focus to Spencer. Spencer was looking for an exit. It’s a weird funhouse/haunted house so it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility that something like that would lead to an exit or at the very least, a different area of the building. What bothers me the most is that Spencer’s entire family knows that Ian and Spencer were together and they kind of… just all blamed Spencer?? Even though she’s a minor. Ian definitely doesn’t want the police to know that he was with Alison, because that is motive for murder. Clearly, no one in this godforsaken town cares about him dating minors, or the Hastings would have been outraged about his relationship with Spencer and he wouldn’t even be around anymore.
