2023-03-13 01:44:57 +0000 UTCI started watching this show because it was marketed a lot like it was an Empire spinoff so I watched in case this became a shared universe like the Chicago shows but it didn’t. Empire is a much better show. The characters on here do get better than they were in the pilot but it never became a favorite show for me.

Star is the oldest of the two sisters obviously so her mindset is protect. but do whatever she can to make sure she doesn't end up like their mom as in both of them. and you have to realize that they come from different foster homes that's why they all act different meaning the two sisters. Simone with the whole rape thing and the not really knowing her mother. the struggles in general makes her the drug addicts that she is. And Alex who as you can see in the scene with her father she doesn't feel respected by her. father and he say you talentless brat. and more stuff I won't spoil but you have to think of those when you watch the show cuz that's the whole point of seeing these three girls who struggling in life. come together and be the best that they can be no matter what
