Joey learned thereβs a lot more out there and she is excited to get out into the big world and dawsons room feels so small. Dawson on the other hand said his rooms safe, like heβs fine just staying there and not having to deal with the criticism of the outside world. Seems there, that their going different directions and Joey seemed to realize that when she got up and said goodbye dawson. Almost felt like she was saying goodbye in a way.
