I think Jason IS trying to get close to Aria, but I also don't think the parents know that Mike tried to break into Jason's house and I don't think they know that Aria told Jason about what's been going on with Mike. So it makes sense that he went straight to Aria about it. Also, maybe I'm just seeing it differently, but I never thought that Jason was ~ actually ~ going to hit Ali. I think he was just messing around.
