2024-06-18 22:48:06 +0000 UTCI love that Millie paid enough attention to know what to write on the board for Brooke. She's right, too. Brooke never got to live her life. Post high school she literally just WORKED. Under the very strict management of Victoria of all people. She deserves to take some time and just do what she wants to do, get refreshed and start again. Brooke's reaction to what Millie said and did got me a little. Their friendship is super cute. Yeah, where IS Peyton's adoptive dad? He's not even mentioned now. I know he had a very geographically undesirable job but it was obvious he loved Peyton greatly. Where is he? I kinda like that her bio dad turned out to be a major disappointment, just as her brother said he was. It's like wishing to know more but realizing you already had something good. She had a good dad, even a good mom before she passed. She even managed to reconnect and form a bond with Ellie before she, too, passed. Can't have good connections all around. I'm glad Mick turned out to be kind of a loser who admits he never wanted to be a dad. I don't know anything about basketball and even less about slamball. OTH is where I even heard of it and honestly thought they made it up lol. Sports are just...dangerous, man. It's nuts that people actually play this game. I thought the book was good? Was Lindsey just seeing it through the personal connection lenses and it actually sucked? I didn't really understand why not a single person showed up when his first book sold out. The cancelled tour made no sense. I don't know why Peyton is suddenly calling her dad Larry...she didn't once do that in high school. I do get Peyton being upset about Mick being the way he is. Despite having two great parents and a wonderful bond with Ellie in the short time they had together, Peyton must have wondered about her bio dad. Maybe even fantasized about meeting him and striking up a bond the way she had with Ellie. It can't ever feel good to be rejected by someone, even if the reasoning was good. I guess the purpose of introducing her bio dad is what all adopted kids in shows/movies seem to go through at some point. It's the same with introducing Ellie. Peyton needed closure on that part of her life I guess. Dan's such an asshole. He can't even be nice to Deb after prison. He doesn't deserve anything out of her. It's wild that Naley let him near Jamie, even after he saved Jamie's life. Nah, man. You're a killer. No way, no chance. I love that Haley's so supportive of Nathan, even when she's clueless about slamball and kind of worried at the sound of it. I do like that Brooke has now taken Sam in. It's sweet when Sam said she's never had her own room before. Sweet and sad. And Peyton rewriting the words on the mirror was sweet, too.

I only watched his live stream for Scream 6 and he doesn't look at the chat during what he's watching UNLESS he has a question that needs answered immediately (like forgetting a character's name), so he doesn't get spoiled and so he can focus. So I don't think the distraction is a factor. That being said, I don't watch any of the other streams so I am only going off the one I watched.

I guess it just the feeling that if he interacts with the people there live, after he posts it here for the rest of us, commenting on the episode it’s a little pointless. Or at least less interactive compared with the people who can watch his livestreams.

2023-06-28 13:30:17 +0000 UTCI‘m glad we found out who Peyton‘s birth father is and I‘m also glad that they didn’t make him like Ellie in that sense that he now has his shit together. Derek said he was a screw-up and he was right. Peyton probably was disappointed at first that unlike Ellie he had no regrets about giving her up and wanting to make things right at least now. It’s realistic and we needed to tie a bow on that part of Peyton’s story.

2023-06-28 08:39:31 +0000 UTCI actually liked the storyline with Peyton and her birth father, I feel like the audience wanted to know who her father was and this offered closure on that as well as even more closure for her birth mother as well. I also think it makes sense Peyton was upset with him at first, I feel like it makes sense for any kid to be upset with their parents for giving them up, even if it's for a good reason. Then you add the fact that he showed up, lied about who he was, kind of threw the answer at her with the whole, "There I said it" line, showed up passed out drunk, kept coming around despite saying he didn't want to be there or talk about anything, giving a lot of confusing mixed signals. I think they said that Omaha is where the first book sold the best, so they were testing the waters there, I also think they were already not sold on his book and were looking for a reason to cancel the book tour, kind of burying the book. Which I think does happen, with music, books, movies, when a publisher or studio doesn't want or believe in something they can give up on it or bury it. I kind of like that Owen came back, I like that this show doesn't really forget about characters.

First, they are mostly at hours in which some of your audience especially from Europe and maybe Asia, are sleeping, so you exclude a bunch of people from experiencing this with you (and this is the case no matter when you make a live stream). I am sure that there are many people who would want to be live and comment. Also, I am now sure how distracted this makes you - but there's gotta be some extra distraction doing this live vs just focusing fully on the episode and the reaction itself. Feel free to do as you wish, but I really don't love this live stream reaction style...
