The lady was not funding the whole thing. Trust me the whole operation would have costed a lot more than 500k. She was just a customer of the guy - one of many I assume.

2023-12-16 19:14:50 +0000 UTCAstrid is a junior agent. Kind of Olivia's assistant or trainee, at the time where Fringe division was formed. Now she is just an agent with the Fringe division, same title as Olivia. But she is not a field agent. No experience in the field, not as far as we have seen. She obviously would have gone through the same training as Olivia but she was at the beginning of her career with the FBI when she was recruited with the Fringe Division. I am sure she does have a gun but at that moment she didn't have it on her.

2023-12-16 19:13:22 +0000 UTCTrust me this show only gets better! Think POI in terms of how the story keep developing in ways you cannot even imagine now. Man, I cannot wait seriously to watch your reactions to the next episodes! This episode is one of the most emotional of this beginning of the season. This show I think literally combines emotional episodes with amazing twist episodes. If it is not one, it's the other. Astrid and Walter's friendship is so amazing. A definite highlight of the show. The characters (the main 5) Walter, Peter, Olivia, Broyles and Astrid are some of the most fleshed and awesome characters of any show I ever watched. Looking forward to next week.
