Golden girls are pretty funny. Didn't you like the nanny too? I remembered seeing a few episodes. Those would probably be my picks for older, shorter comedy shows.

It had 3 of the 4 girls, only Dorothy, Sofia’s daughter, the grumpy one, didn’t join. It only lasted 1 season before being cancelled. Rose and Blanche and the mom Sofia, ran a hotel together they bought along with new cast, never got a season 2

2024-01-22 20:44:42 +0000 UTCif you decide to pick up a sitcom for saturday definitely make it this one. i grew up watching this show w my grandma and im pretty young. always loved this show and the comedy is honestly great. i think wit every episode you’ll laugh a lot and i think you’d enjoy every one of the girls characters.

It tackled difficult subjects, including deportation, drug addiction, interracial marriages, gay rights, HIV/AIDS, depression and mental health for senior citizens and it showed that older women could have active sex lives. I hope you give this show a chance past the pilot
