I think this is the best of their "serious issues" episodes. They took the case seriously and saw several sides of it, and gave us some touching backstory about Amy, while still finding legitimate (non-trivializing) humor around the edges of the story so that it wasn't out of key with the series as a whole. Jake's reactions were awesome.

What an amazing job tackling this subject. B99 does so well with heavy subject matters. Racism, Rosa coming out and now this? I loved the realness of the clips showing the subtle (and not so subtle) ways women get discriminated on with Amy right next to a totally oblivious Jake. And I love so much how Jake just supported Amy when she told him what happened to her, the emotion in his eyes and how he literally watched a documentary about feminism because it affected him so much. I echo Amy's "I love you." Jake had all the right responses and so did she. 2.5mil is A LOT to walk away from for an uncertain outcome, but at least some good came out of it, even if she had to quit her job.
