2023-09-14 18:35:54 +0000 UTCSo in the beginning of the show they stuck to this idea that Leo is only allowed to heal the girls from life threatening injury battle wounds that sort of thing. It is never explicitly stated but it's touched on in a season 3 episode very quickly. In this case with the ankle it could've just been like a production miss but that is a factor of that power is he's not supposed to just use it all the time they obviously so away with that and become more lax as the show goes on and his attachment to them grows. Though I do agree with Steven they should've just been able to call for him and he would've come to them but maybe we'll chalk that up to fear and adrenaline taking over

2023-09-14 18:26:22 +0000 UTCI do like this episode a lot. Not a typical season finale, as we've come to expect a big showdown with the Big Bad of the season thanks to Buffy, but it's VERY solid. I firmly believe that the reason this was the finale was because of Piper's storylines, both with Dan and wanting to know more about Leo. I like the conclusion of Dan's storyline too. He was a nice guy and he left unscathed. Ten out of ten. Prue's acting was SO good. Shannen really had me believing they got her to turn back into a teenager. When she was crying, it was so well done. Most shows if they do a reverse-back-into-teens storyline it gets annoying real quick but this wasn't at all. Piper and Phoebe crying over Prue was also so well done. Still teared up over it. Yeah, solid finale, solid episode. I think we should ALL be worried about Piper meeting Leo's bosses cuz their relationship is actually forbidden and they're gonna just orb in and say "hey, look who's coming for dinner!?" Season 3 is next!!!! The moment we've all been waiting for!! Truly can't wait!

Two things about this episode that always bothered me, one of which you caught: Why didn't Leo just heal Phoebe's ankle in the beginning, and why didn't Piper and Phoebe just call out for Leo in the park when Teen Prue got stabbed and they had the Dragon frozen? Those were two inconsistencies that apparently were needed for the sake of the storyline I'm guessing. But this was pretty much a Monster-of-the-Week episode that made for a great season finale. Something that used to be a lot more common before shows started adapting season-long story arcs. Buffy was one of the biggest initial drivers of that format. SO looking forward to Season 3...
