2023-09-24 22:21:10 +0000 UTCSo, Bad Liar is actually my favorite Selena Gomez song of all time. Itβs so unique and catchy and such a fun sound to explore. I canβt help but to think this song was supposed to be the lead of a now-scrapped album (Fetish would have been the second single) and I pray every day to hear what that album would have sounded like. It was such an artistic risk (both songs actually) and I feel that it just paid off and actually would have made me even value her more as a pop artist in such an overcrowded landscape. 2017 is generally my favorite era because in addition to the interesting things she was doing sonically, she was also in her EDM bag! I believe Back to You was also from this era. Just good times all around. But yes, the music video is fantastic and is also my favorite video sheβs done!
