From the locations they've shown before (like the strip club Craig, JT and Toby went to to get the stripper for Snake's bachelor party, Filmores), they are close to the Church-Wellesley area which is the gay village.

2023-09-27 13:50:47 +0000 UTCThis episode really hit home for me. Coming out wasn't easy, and I had a couple of "friends" like Spinner who treated me just as bad. Spread rumors throughout the school that I was creeping on guys in the gym locker room and everything. I thankfully also had friends like Jimmy who I am still friends with to this day that never treated me differently for being bi. The whole thing is so bittersweet.

Paige was always very supportive, like when Ashley's dad came out. Idk why the writers allowed her to be so casual with the blatant homophobia. She's never one to not speak her mind.

And honestly, the only reason i ever get over it is just cause Spinner is such a huge character on the show, it was literally hard to keep hating him when he was so prevalent and got good storylines. But Marco deserved so much better of a friend. Spinner was also a jerk to him and this made it a million times worse. I love how Jimmy was such a great friend.
