Yes, he had to physically leave Tree Hill, but he was also ending the relationship. If he was really so in love that he saw a future for them, enough to ask her to uproot hers and Sam's life to join him at his home, he couldn't have figured out a way to take it slow, maybe do the long distance thing, visit each other? They're both rich enough to afford plane tickets now and again...I mean, there are WAYS but he was just like "you don't love me back after our short undetermined-thanks-to-writers'-inconsistencies amount of time together? Well ok, guess it's just my luck. Goodbye forever"...

2023-09-28 16:56:57 +0000 UTClmao julian isn't "hot" by my standards but he does seem to care a lot about brooke and even sam. compared to the love or lack thereof that brooke has had in the past, i think we are just excited to see someone who treasures her the way she deserves. we just like that for her! i don't think it's really fair to say those that like julian only like him because he's "hot." it goes beyond that in so many ways. she loves so deeply. here is a person who matches that. as brooke davis fans we want her fairytale ending with a prince who treats her like the ground she walks on is precious lol and here's someone who seems to tick all those boxes.

2023-09-28 16:55:55 +0000 UTCbut he didn't run away, he has to return to his home, that's the difference. he had to leave and i am sure was figuring he'd take his chance while he still could before saying goodbye. i get it honestly. he wanted to say something, do a grand gesture to show his love before having to leave. i don't think it wasn't him not being patient or giving ultimatums. the job he came to do is done, now he has to return home. that was my understanding of it

2023-09-28 16:52:55 +0000 UTCAlso, just wanted to add after reading all the comments that it is PERFECTLY fine for Julian to feel that way about Brooke after a month (or however long it's been based on Peyton's pregnancy cuz that is a MAJOR timeline inconsistency) but I totally hate how they always write the guys to be butthurt and literally run away when the other person is just not quite ready yet. First Luke with Peyton in LA and now Julian with Brooke. Am I the only one who thinks that if you really love someone, be patient and wait for them? Let them get to it at their own pace? Why is it an ultimatum? It's now or never?

HE'S A PSYCHOPATH!!!" pls, I've never laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, Julian shouldn't have told Sam. At this point, he's just running on pure himbo energy cuz OFC Sam would use that tiny teenage brain and be like "yep, we are uprooting our lives and moving to a new city in a matter of hours." I don't think I ever caught on to the one month thing so yeah! Hearing it now made it sound so crazy! It's okay if you feel all those things in 2 weeks but it's not okay to pressure someone or guilt them for not feeling the same way in that short amount of time (or ever, actually). I think Julian maybe lives in la la land and he sees his romance with Brooke as something out of a film lol. Imagine a show being so disconnected that the people watching think certain storylines were written by separate writers who didn't communicate with each other. Yikes 😬😬 I agreed with everything you said. Just really hate that they've destroyed Peyton so much, not just for this season but AT LEAST for seasons 5 and 6.

He respected Brooke’s boundaries, he was honest, he invited her to join him and even made room for Sam to come too. He moved fast but never crossed any line. So I really don’t understand what he apparently did wrong in Steven‘s eyes.

2023-09-28 09:54:51 +0000 UTCA few things here. First, it has gotten in your head that Julian was trying to manipulate Brooke in some way and judge every thing he said and did after that by that. Which is not correct. Was he moving fast? Yes. But if he falls in love he cannot control that. Also, he had to move back to LA for his career, so why not take a shot and invite her and Sam along with him, especially since he was falling for her! He probably knows how rare that is. That Brooke was special. He is not psycho, at every step he understood why Brooke shut him down, she was not ready, it was too soon. But to expect him not to get upset that the girl was falling for was not there yet, is asking a bit too much of a person. You cannot control how you feel. You can only control how you act about it and he acted fine.

Peyton wasn't even pregnant when Julian came, and she's at least 5 months along here... not to mention the entire producer search and casting process would take several months. 😆 OTH is known for having huge timeline inconsistencies (i.e. Haley and Karen having full term babies at... 6 months. lol).
