I think she tries really hard to find something completely different than what her parents have but looks for it in all the wrong guys that wind up maybe having some of her fathers personality traits. Her perception of what love is seems to be warped by her upbringing and what she has fantasized about from books and television. This situation with Craig shows Manny that she wants the flowers and the love song, she doesn’t want the one sided romance like she has now.

In junior high, he was a super sweet kid, but a few seasons in, his parents died in a car crash from a drunk driver and he never took the chance the heal, which led to a downwards spiral. From lashing out and lying to his friends and his grandparents, to stealing, to hitchhiking and running away to stay with his birth dad (he was adopted) to eventually becoming the person he hated the most by becoming a drunk driver himself at the end of the show.

And then he goes right back to Ashley. That's not fair to either girl. He's the asshole even if there's no cheating technically. If he didn't want to start anything with Manny, he should have said so before he did anything with her.

Your reaction to Craig/Manny was ~ hilarious ~ And yes, Ashley is always doing the most because I had the exact same reaction. I was on her side about being pissed that he told Spinner and then she just took it too far. I guess, it’s so Craig has more of a reason to think it’s over with Ashley (he’s so shocked that she wants him back at the end of the episode) or just to make it seem… idk what he did less awful? But oh, Craig. I think you’ve dug a hole for yourself now.

The episode that you watched of the og degrassi he was in it and he was in the first episode of next generation. He was the guy who who was apologizing to Lucy (another person from the old show that’s been in a few episodes) outside of the reunion because she was in the car with him. In the first episode they talk about wheels because he was just released from Jail after being locked up for about 10 years
