I'm so glad you're enjoying Heartstopper so much because this is THE comfort show for me. I'm just as thankful for whomever it was who requested this show for you. This show just does everything right - the actors, the script, the music, the animated editing, the pacing...and now...the LIGHTING. It was always there in subtle forms (like the spot of rainbow the first time Charlie saw Nick in form room) but this episode, with the Tara/Darcy kiss and the rainbow strobe lights, and the subtle colour choices reflecting on Nick...perfection. i do believe as well that seeing Tara/Darcy so happy and free gave Nick that courage to take the next step with Charlie. Such an important scene π Joe/Charlie deserves all the recognition for his talent but I thought Kit/Nick did an equally phenomenal job during their first kiss scene. That look of nervous fear...wow. i really felt that.
