oh shawn...my heart breaks for him. i hate how this episode leaves off. i think shawn should just stay with turner. and this isn't a spoiler bc i quite literally do not remember the trajectory here aside from one main ep down the line lol just in this moment right now, i think writing wise shawn should stay with john. they just *work* so well. and chet is scum lol i'll never not think that. especially after rewatching with you and how terrified shawn was to go home after the mailbox incident, chet just gives me the ick. but shawn adores his dad so much, that's so clear to see.
