I'm new and the Peyton and Lucas hate really drove me crazy 😭 like yes they have had it rough out of everybody but that's because the creator was a creep and sexual harasser. He wanted Peyton so bad but because she didn't like him or his advances he made sure they made her character suffer. Chad stood up for her and since him and Mark Schwan butted heads a lot he made sure Lucas character suffered as well. I just hate how much people come for them 😭 They were done so dirty and it was they fault they deserved so much better

2024-12-13 16:35:07 +0000 UTCIt does feel like it could be a series finale. But like other people said, you can kind of separate the show into S 1-4, 5-6, and 7-9. And while there are some things I don't love S 7-9 have some of my favorite parts of the show. Nathan and Hayley really are the best especially as a couple. I love Brooke and I loved the Sam storyline. I definitely just got through the Peyton/Lucas storylines this season. Brooke is still one of my favourites and she'll have more growth in the future that I love but I do wish they didn't have to fully cut out Sam. She was also a big part of her falling for Julian and Julian falling for her.

The name thing is a little weird it seems to be a tree hill thing. I loved Nathan getting called up and Haley and Jamie's pride. Nathan going to tell Whitey he got called up when Dan was there was perfect. Nathan telling Q it was a comeback and thank you was also great. You thinking it was all a dream cracked me up. I love OTH but they don't have the balls for that lol. I like Brooke and Julian but Victoria suddenly supporting Brooke's love life was weird and uncharacteristic.

2023-11-11 20:32:00 +0000 UTCHis hate for Peyton is beyond odd… I find it quit sickening to watch… frankly it didn’t matter what she named her baby I feel like he would’ve found a reason to hate it cause he hates her real bad…didn’t say nothing bout Karen naming my her daughter Roe but saywer Scott is a problem. It’s so weird…at least Peyton name can now rest so happy he won’t be mention them anymore 😭😭

I mean, 99% of children in the world are named after their dads, so why shouldn't some be named after their moms? Gilmore Girls was a prime example of this. And as pointed out in the chat, it's definitely a thing on here with Haley/Jamie and even with Karen. Lily's middle name is Roe, Karen's maiden name.

2023-11-03 06:32:55 +0000 UTCI’ve seen a few different reactors cover OTH and something I find really fascinating is how differently men and women seem to respond to Julian this season. The male reactors I’ve seen all have issues with his character and his decisions, and the female reactors seem to fall in love with him pretty quickly once he’s introduced and then get very invested in his story line with Brooke lol I do think you go a little too hard on him though. Yes, he fell very hard and fast for Brooke but that’s not really out of the norm for this show—let’s not forget that Nathan and Haley started dating, fell in love, and got married within a few months (the whole first season takes place in the fall semester of their junior year and they’re married in the season 1 finale)☺️ I think the show did a pretty good job of showing that Brooke was feeling a lot of what Julian was feeling, but was too scared to act on it given her past trauma with love and romance (and her issues with her mother). And idc what Brooke says, they did not only know each other for “a month”—because Peyton JUST found out she was pregnant when they started hooking up and she was suuuper far along by the time he left town lol unless she had a magical baby, that timeline doesn’t track
