2024-04-19 06:07:33 +0000 UTCThere’s an episode of psych where Shawn is talking about this movie and Gus says he never heard of it. Which is also funny because Gus always knows the references. Also the curse was broken because Stanley carried Zero up the hill and sang the song.

2024-04-19 06:00:13 +0000 UTCi never really got the the hype for holes. we had the audio book played for us in art class in elementary and the story was cool but i remember watching the movie with my parents and just kind of feeling "meh" about it. it's not one of my childhood ones that was formative for me. then fast forward and it gets somehow tumblr famous back in like 2012 with memes and stuff and so i watch it again thinking maybe i missed something but nope, still just kinda "meh." i don't know why, the story is intriguing and so are the characters but the execution of the story just kinda always felt flat.
