And yes, the other side was destroyed but the end of TVD showed that they all went to peace when they died. They all ended up where they wanted to be with their loved ones.

2024-05-30 00:20:01 +0000 UTCThe last season is so rushed and you can tell the writers really tried to wrap up the season and the character's storyline fast. I think they already announced Legacies by this point, and the plotline of the show was written. So they we're try there best to make this season lead into the first season of Legacies. I feel like if they either added a new plotline (instead of the continued use of the hollow) or actually did 22 episodes this season would be at ton stronger. Hope's character in this last season didn't seem fully developed by the writers. But, in Legacies her writing is sooo much better. And plus it's not just Hope that the show is following but several other characters. Legacies is that teen show vibe kinda like beginning of Vampire Diaries. Definitely think you'll like it.

2024-05-18 14:48:56 +0000 UTCI agree I don't think the actress is bad I just think the writers rushed this last season if they had taken their time maybe with 22 episodes we could have had a decent story but its like they knew they had to wrap up multiple stories at once and just kind of rushed it but I loved legacies and I believe that you will too it adds a lot to hopes characters and makes her more likeable so please don't give up

2024-05-17 12:31:37 +0000 UTCI definitely didn't dislike Hope as much as you do at this point, but I wasn't really liking her this season, I was constantly disappointed that they did the time jump and lost the actress who played Hope before, because I thought she was great in the role. But I wasn't interested in this version of Hope, although I didn't think the actress was terrible or anything, I just didn't love what they were doing with the character. However, I did end up really liking her on Legacies and really liked Legacies a lot, thought it was really well done, especially the first 2 seasons.

2024-05-17 08:13:21 +0000 UTCYes, it is completely different from what the originals was, like a brand new show as opposed to a direct continuation of originals. Yes it may follow the key plot points that happened there and in vampire diaries but it’s a good show with good characters introduced. I’m watching it first time myself in season 4, and it’s been pretty good so far and her characters a lot better in legacies.
