it is a good ending but i think the ending they went with is better. the finale is one of my favorite episodes from both shows actually

2024-02-19 21:31:29 +0000 UTCYou can watch season 5 if you want. I found it to be a huge disappointment. They pretty much destroy everything good about the show imo. The finale is particularly disappointing for me. Then again, I thought the same about TVD finale/final season so. However, TO is worse imo. But you choose what you want. It's a fairly short season, so it wouldn't be a huge commitment. There are a COUPLE of moments in it that are good and worse seeing, but they are few and far between.

There are some writing choices I don’t love, but overall it’s a solid season. If you’re planning to watch Legacies, you would be pretty confused by skipping season 5. And it would be a shame to go through 8 seasons of TVD and 4 of this show to just stop now.
